Bourgés du Rouet, born June 1, 2018 combines a famous pedigree with a powerhouse of jumping legends, like his sire “Balou du Rouet”. His dam Ferra (Fazon x Gesara x Simply) was sired by a Futurist (For Pleasure) son out of one of Paul Schockemoehle’s mares. Ferra has had a very successful hunter career, competing in Wellington in 2017. Ferra showed extensively in the hunters despite her power and scope. Registered and branded Hanoverian (Aug 28th, 2018), “Bo” shows good type with athletic, powerful and elastic movement. He is very correct in both movement and conformation. His stunning appearance and gorgeous face add to the attraction.

In 2017, Balou du Rouet was ranked 9th in both the WBFSH world Show Jumping and Eventing too! So far, in Germany alone, 195 of Balou’s progeny are successful at advanced S level. He is known in North America for also producing cadillac show hunters. Balou du Rouet consistently passies on his elasticity, elegant type, and phenomenal jumping ability. In his own stallion performance test he was awarded a 9.5 and 10 for jumping ability. His dam’s sire Continue combines two of the most appreciated Holstein performance genes of Contender and Tin Rocco.
