Sire is Hang On Brohdi an Irish Sporthorse son of Hang On Johnny RID. Dam is a purebred Trakhener mare who came to us without papers but with a moderate riding career as an eventer/jumper.

Brohdi's sire, Hangon Johnny was the winner of the 2 year old colt class at the 1990 Irish National Show. His full sister named Madden Lady was the 1987 All Ireland Champion Foal, 1998 All Ireland Champion Filly and a Millstreet Qualifier in 1989. Hang On Johnny was an imported Irish Draught stallion approved in Ireland, Great Britain and the US. He was measured at 16.3HH. He was very harmoniously put together. Lovely set neck going into the wither, nice shoulder with excellent shoulder freedom. Very powerful hind end coming under easily, straight clean legs with a good amount of bone, and excellent feet. Hang On Johnny had competed successfully in Show Jumping, Eventing and Dressage.

The Hang On Johnny offspring have proven themselves in Europe and the US as National conformation champions, in show jumping, dressage and eventing. More importantly, they are being successfully trained and shown by their amateur owners who are often junior riders. Hang On Johnny had two approved sons in Europe.

Hang On Brohdi BEC will be presented for approval next fall. All offspring are currently eligible for Certificate of Pedigree from the IDHSNA.
