From a young age, Breitan has been carefully developed through the levels in a great training program. He has remarkable talent for piaffe, passage, tempi changes, and pirouettes. Over the past five years, Breitan has taught his amateur owner the upper-level movements, and is now ready to do the same for his lucky new owner.
Breitan is sired by Breitling W, known for producing top horses. Under the ownership of Wolfram Wittig, who is also Breitan's breeder, Breitling achieved success through International Grand Prix, culminating in a victorious Nations' Cup win in Hickstead in 2001. In 2014, Breitling was honored as the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year.
Breitan's damsire is the highly accomplished Blue Hors Cavan, known for his success in international competition. With an astonishing record of 49 victories at the Grand Prix level, Cavan was a finalist in multiple European Championships, World Championships, and World Cup Finals, and represented Denmark in the 2004 Athens Olympics.
Breitan's lineage also traces back to the legendary Donnerhall, one of the most influential dressage breeding stallions of all time.
Breitan has had no lameness issues over the past 5 years with his current owner and has no vices.
