Bristow is a young mare of exceptional type. She has super style for a hunter and exceptional athleticism, blood, and scope for the jumper ring. 3 absolutely quality gaits, and she embodies her star studded pedigree in every way. Balou du Rouet is one of the most popular and successful current jumper sires and her dam line is that of the legendary Voltaire. In her unfortunately short performance career Bristow turned heads everywhere she went with her outstanding quality and exciting talent for jumping. An OCD surgery gone wrong ended her promising performance career.

Bristow is a proven broodmare with a great future ahead of her! She produced an exciting bay filly in 2020 via frozen semen from Casall ASK (filly is retained). Bristow was easy to get in foal with frozen semen and lends herself to being a great ET candidate, given that she consistently double ovulates and did conceive twins. With this mare’s quality pedigree and truly wonderful type she has a bright future to produce high quality sport horses for a discerning breeder.

Bristow is easy to manage, barefoot, pasture sound, great in a group or individual turnout situation, and her first pregnancy and foaling were textbook! She is ready to ship to a new home!
