Sire Cabardino is a spectacular 4' hunter who combines scope, technique, temperament, beauty and movement in one complete package.
Cabardino sired an approved stallion during his first year of breeding in Germany. He is known to produce beautiful, very flashy and refined foals with excellent movement and incredible technique over jumps.
Cabardino's temperament is second to none and his scope and technique over jumps is simply extraordinary. He has won many hack classes, including the under saddle classes at the Royal Winter Fair in 2007 and 2008.
Cabaletta W carries in her pedigree the bloodlines of KWPN stallion Voltaire (Preferent), as well as the stallion Rio Grande. Voltaire is the result of crossing two outstanding bloodlines: Furioso II and Gotthard. Furioso II produced 200 state premium mares and at least 70 approved stallions of which several are standing at stud in other continents. One can easily say that Furioso II has influenced the breeding industry worldwide. The full brother of Furioso II is the French stallion Mexico. His son Le Mexico is a familiar name in Dutch breeding and frequently appears in the pedigrees of successful show jumpers. Furioso II was also the sire of the Olympic gold medal winners Lutteur B and Pomone B.
As an 8 year old Voltaire jumped 1.50 m. courses with a great deal of success. He showed his strength in international jumping in 1988 in Calgary, Stockholm, Lanaken, Helsinki, Wiesbaden and Wembley and in 1989 he brought his show jumping career to a successful ending by winning the Grand Prix of Berlin with Jos Lansink and 2nd in the Grand Prix of Leeuwarden.
Voltaire was the sire with the most offspring at the Olympic Games of Atlanta in 1996. Voltaire has over 50 approved sons. Many of his offspring jump at Grand Prix level, i.e. Kannan, Finesse, Altaire, Kahlua, Play it Again, Helios, Electro, Especial etc. etc. Foltaire, ridden by Günther Seidel is a famous offspring of Voltaire in the international dressage ring. Voltaire has been awarded ‘Hunter Sire of the Year 2001, 2002 and 2003’ in the USA!
Cabaletta W has all the necessary qualities for a top show hunter, with a proven and impressive pedigree to back it up. A stand out in any ring, she is very flashy with her dark bay coat, white blaze, and four white stockings. Best of all is her extraordinary outgoing nature and friendly personality.
Cabaletta W displays all the qualities required to be a top show hunter with the bloodlines to back it up!
