Cabellero is a registered, branded Holsteiner colt with very strong and correct conformation, which also has the most amazing temperament ! At the 2016 AHHA Breeding Stock Approvals, judge Matt Davis described him as being an example of the "perfect hunter" with naturally balanced movement.
His sire, Cabardino, won numerous 4' Regular Hunter Championships in the US and Canada. In 2007, he won Canadian Champion in the 4' Working Hunter division at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, the Regular Hunter Championship title at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida, as well as the Kentucky National. Cabardino has produced numerous Premium and several Champion foals in North America as well as Hunter Breeding Champions at Warrenton, Devon and the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.
His damsire Rantares was ranked #1 amongst the USEF Leading Dressage Sires in 2007. Rantares also fox hunted, won combined training events and produced upper level jumpers and dressage horses, passing on his versatility and soundness to his offspring.
