Anyone looking for a fancy prospect on a tight budget? 3yr old Westphalian gelding, 16hh. Big lofty mover, sensitive type but easy and kind to work with. He is backed, but otherwise unstarted. Potential to be an upper level horse for eventing, jumpers, or dressage. Scored very well at the Young Horse Show last month, scores above a 7 through jump chute and at liberty, and was a perfect gentleman all day long despite the busy show!
Due to a recent PPE finding, we have dropped our asking price. We found that he has juvenile cataracts. They do not affect his vision, and most likely never will. But we understand this may deter some people, so we want to be upfront and fair. We have been told by vet that this most likely will never become a big deal. We have an ophthalmologist report in hand, and are happy to share our findings.
Otherwise, this horse will vet. Sound, barefoot, no sign of ulcers, etc! He is ready to be started under saddle and will make someone a very nice horse! Have X-rays of hocks and stifles. Only offered because owner needs a bigger horse!
