Calvijn BP39 is a 2013, 16.3 hand Barock Pinto (KWPN x Freisian) gelding looking for his person and forever home. Imported from the Netherlands as a stallion at 8, he was approved for the Barock Pinto studbook before being gelded. He has competed with scores in the high 60’s at 3rd level, schooling 4th Level with half steps started. He goes equally well in both the snaffle and double bridle, and his changes are easy and straightforward to ride. Naturally well balanced, the upper level work comes naturally for him. Retaining NO stallion behaviors, he is easy in the barn and on the ground- clips, loads, good in turnout (grass or sand), for the farrier, etc. Calvijn is incredibly sweet and has a wonderful work ethic. He comes out the same every day and loves to work- he is one of my favorite horses in my program for how smart and good natured he is. No bolt, buck, or rear. However, he can be sensitive at times, so he is best suited for a confident rider he can look to for security. A 5* home is a must.
