Cantina AV is a 4 yr old CWHBA mare by the dutch bred stallion VDL Ulando H (corland X ahorn), out of an approved CWHBA oldenburg bred mare Wellesley (Weltstern X Wenzel) stands 16.2 hh, chestnut.

Cantina has been trained w/t/c as well as been started over fences. She goes well undersaddle with big suspended gaits. She is extremely athletic, is very good with her lead changes, and has a great capability for collection/extension. She has begun light schooling in lateral work in all gaits, and has taken to it quite easily. She is schooling over fences, and continues to show her althletic ability continuously jumping fences with a lot of scope and good technique. She has a lot of potential to be a high level eventer, or a 4 foot plus jumper. She easily schools 3 feet at home already, and is continuing to grow in confidence and ability.

Cantina went to her first jumper show off property on Mar 5, 2011. She showed in the .85m class and was reserve champion. She placed 1st, 2nd, and 6th.

Cantina is an excellent mover as well, she placed first in the dressage suitability class at the Fieldstone breed show back in Sept. She qualified for the Royal Winter fair in 2010, and place a very respectable 2nd place finish in the 3yr old division of the eastern canadian free jumping competition in 2010.

She loves to jump and work, she is not a pleasure horse but a serious competition horse for a serious rider who wants to ride a scopy powerful horse. She takes care of her riders, and has a fun and playful attitude towards work.

In the barn she is extremely sociable, very friendly, easy to trailer, clip, braid, bath, ties, stands for needles, and the farrier. She has good strong conformation and is sound.

I would really like to see this mare get into the hands of a serious competitive rider and for that reason she is offered at $25000.

She will be shown in the Young Event horse series this year, and may attend a few of the jumper development series classes.
