Sold
We are excited to offer a very special foal for sale for 2010. This is a unique opportunity to buy an extremely well bred foal. This filly would never be for sale if I had not already retained two of her 1/2 sisters for my program.
Sire: Quinar (Quidam de Revel/Aloube Z) 16.2 hh Elite Holsteiner stallion
Quinar was a successful international show-jumper ridden by Jos Lansink and Ludger Beerbaum. As of 2009 he is also the sire of 5 World Champion jumping horses and 16 approved stallion sons! Quinar is widely considered to be one of the best modern day show-jumping sires around. During his approvals in 1997 he showed his perfect jumping technique and movement, which he passes on to his offspring. At Neumunster in 2003 Quinar had 6 sons at the approvals, with an outstanding appearance in jumping from his son Quick Nick, who sold for a record 400,000 Euros. His stallion sons are starting to make a mark in the competition ring, as well as the breeding shed. His son Quality competed at the Bundeschampionate for German jumpers in 2004 and 2005, winning a qualifier with a 9.0! He also took part in the the World Championship for Jumpers in Lanaken. Another stallion son, Quintender, stands at Paul Schockemohle stud, where is currently winning in the 1.5 meter classes with Helena Torstensson. Quintender was also the sire of the Champion Foal at the 2008 German Foal Championships, selling for a record 120,000 Euros.
Dam: Princess Queenie (Phantom/Polydor) 16.3 Elite Westfalen Mare.
Princess Queenie (Queenie) is an Elite Westfalen mare with a wealth of jumper bloodlines. She was imported in-utero to the United States and won in the jumpers with Margie Engle, but was injured before her career could progress to the very top levels. She is by Phantom, a Pilot son and known producer of jumping talent. Her dam is the mare Power and Beauty, show name Carribean Queen, who was a grand-prix jumper ridden by Margie Engle, whom she qualified for the 1996 Olympics. Caribbean Queen is by the prolific jumper producer Polydor. Princess Queenie had her first foal in 1996 and it was sold to Frank Chapot-that foal is still competing in the jumper ring today. Her foals since then have been in high demand, with her 2006 Cassini II filly sold to Canada as a weanling and her 2008 Indoctro colt selling in-utero to Grand Prix rider Brandie Holloway. Her 2008 Indoctro filly and her 2009 Contendro filly have been retained by us. Queenie had the honor of being unanimously approved into the American Holsteiner Horse Association Main Mare Book by petition-meaning that she did not have to be inspected, but was instead approved based upon her conformation and bloodlines. The breeding committee declared her a "singularly outstanding mare". She is also in the Premium mare book for Oldenburg NA. With the above breeding this foal should be able to jump anything you want it to! Will be registered with AHHA, but can be registered Westfalen if you prefer.
