Casaro is a 2006 Freisian x Trakehner gelding. He has a large and impressive competition record at Prix St George and Intermediate I and had a successful Grand Prix debut (64% in 2017). He has earned two trips to the US Dressage Finals and placed fifth out of twenty-one horses with a 70% in the FEI Open Intermediate I Freestyle. In 2018 he was sold to a junior rider who earned her USDF Bronze medal on him and was the USDF/ATA Second Level Horse of the Year Champion. With his junior rider in college Casaro is getting back to his FEI form and is ready to go through the levels, or step back into the FEI arena with a new partner . He is very sound and has great talent for piaffe, passage, and the canter pirouettes. He is an impressive horse that is ready to excel. He is by the stallion Nico who is the sire of Adiah, US Finals Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle Champion with Jim Kofford, and Vashti, US Dressage Finals Grand Prix Freestyle Reserve Champion with Kristin Knutson.
