Cashmere -- 2007 Black KWPN Gelding by Special D (Metall/Ferro). He was imported "in-utero" from Holland, and was born and raised on the rolling Virginia countryside. Purchased from breeder as a three year old. He was started slowly and correctly by both a professional and an amateur, but is now ridden primarily by his amateur owner. Very forward, sensitive ride, but safe and fun, fun, fun!

Talented and capable horse. Good gaits, his canter being especially uphill and nice. Schooling 2nd level at home. In your pocket personality at the barn and a willing partner under saddle.

He does, however, need a confident rider with an educated seat... especially when going "off-farm" to new places or shows. Never a spook, buck or bolt, but he does tend to blow-off the rider's half-halts when he gets nervous. In that sense, he would not be a good beginner's horse.

Between running two farms and developing my own breeding program, I have no time to really dedicate to him or his training. Would love to see him go to a competitive home that will help develop him up the levels. He loves attention from his "person" and really bonds with them.

X-rays do reflect changes, so will require maintenance. Asking $37,500, but I am accepting respectable offers for that reason. Might consider a partial trade for a quality KWPN broodmare with dressage lines.
