Corey is out of Paree, who has been the foundation of my breeding farm and is the one credited for the many lovely types on this farm. Paree is by Rantares who had the highest FN ratings of any horse in the US long after his passing. Rantares produced upper level jumpers as well as upper level dressage horses. His offspring are known for their soundness. Corey is by Cassini II who is known for producing the "best jumping horses in the barn". His offspring can be seen in both the hunter ring and the grand Prix jumper ring at the biggest horse shows. At this time in his growth he is looking like he would like to be a big jumper or Equitation mount with plenty of scope. Very amateur friendly and easy to handle. Should be easy to break in a few months time and a pleasure to ride.

Born on Memorial Day, Corey, aka Courage Under Fire is a wonderful eventing, jumper/equitation, or dressage prospect. He travels underneath himself and naturally carries himself round. He is well balanced and well proportioned. He was gelded Jan. 2015. New free jumping video available.

Corey has current x-rays, and the only thing that came up was an OCD in one stifle that is in a non-articulating part of the joint that is completely asymptomatic and has no clinical effects. This OCD lesion can be easily removed with laparoscopic surgery for $2500-$5000, or there is little to warrant surgery at all other than for easier resale at this time. My vet and I have had very good success using OCD pellets/ Theraplate/ and Platinum Performance bone products to calcify areas of low bone density in growing horses. If Corey has not sold by mid to late winter, he will have the surgery to remove the OCD to help in his resale. Update: I Cannot get the funds together to do the surgery recommended for this horse.
