Castleberrys Last Emperor, aka "Rory" is a special, one of a kind Cob with a power
packed, Royal Welsh and Dressage winning pedigree. He was started under saddle as a 4 yr old.
He is a willing partner and brave out on the trails. He had the next winter off, and was
going to be added to our show string in 2011, but was bought up and sent straight to a
professional trainer to become an aspiring show horse . He was shown that summer at the
Heartland Double Gold show where he won Reserve Supreme Champion Gelding AND
the perpetual Agnes J. and Walter A. Korbecki Memorial Utility Cob Trophy, (highest
scoring over-all performance Cob). We knew he would be great!
Rory once again took a short winter break, then headed back to the trainers in Feb. This
Spring he began successfully showing in USDF recognized shows at Training Level 3 and
First Level. He is a solid First Level and is schooling Second Level movements. Rory is
lifetime registered with USEF and USDF.
Rory's entrepreneurial owner has had an honest reality check and realized that she does
not have the time to ride, much less show Rory. She enlisted our help in marketing Rory
and we happily agreed. We love Rory and are proud that he carries the Castleberrys
prefix. He is the perfect fit for anyone looking for a sweet, uncomplicated, sound in mind
and body, easy to ride Cob gelding with no vices, outstanding work ethic and the proven
