Cedarglen Three Little Birds aka Birdie is a substantial yet feminine May 2020 filly. She's had regular farrier care, de-worming, vaccination, and love and attention. She's out 24/7 in a 4 acre field and gets a small amount of Ultium Growth twice a day. As a result, she's fit and well developed for a rising two year old. Birdie is scheduled to go to the trainer on April 30, 2022, for serious sale and show prep and her price will rise accordingly.
Her sire, Madoc Heir Apparent ("Harry") is the only known Kentchurch Chime son standing in the U.S. Chime competed through Grand Prix and had many progeny that did the same. He was a true dressage pioneer for the Welsh Cob breed. Harry has won many under saddle and in hand championships at breed shows. He recently competed in his first ADS event where he won Best of Dressage and 1st in the combined test in the Preliminary Single Horse division.
Birdie's dam is out of a Welsh mare and by Hanoverian Elite stallion, Pablo, who, at one time, was North America’s top Grand Prix producer. Birdie is only the second foal out of this cross, but her full sister was quickly purchased by a dressage home. Both sides of her pedigree are suited for jumping as well. She's going to be a versatile partner for someone looking for a Hony. Birdie measured approximately 14.3 hands on 3/31/2022. I anticipate she'll finish at or above 15 hands.
