CGF R-owyn aka Emma

Emma started under saddle in July 2024, and is living up to our vision for this cross. She is 4-years old and presently measures 14.1 . Our trainer describes her as an honest young horse, consistently the same horse every ride, showing herself to be fairly unflappable and capable of working both in the ring and on trails with a competent rider. She has progressed well in her training and ready to show Training level, with three clear and balanced gaits, but a particularly good canter.

She is at a busy training barn with lots of activity but has taken it all in stride. She has handled turnout with both mares and geldings with ease. She is in a stall during the day and has no stall vices, stands well for the farrier and is quiet in the cross-ties. She is easy to handle in hand, loves attention and really enjoys being around people.

Emma is naturally forward and responsive but is not overly sensitive. She shows good potential for dressage with natural self-carriage and balance, with all paces being ground-covering yet rideable. In short, she is everything we hoped she would be and more when we made this match!

We had no intentions of ever offering this mare for sale, but circumstances have changed and we are now seeking the perfect partner to bring this talented girl along. She is suitable for a young rider or adult amateur in a program.

Sired by German Riding pony stallion Rembrandt DDH: 3x Pavo cup winner and 5x European FEI Pony Dressage competitor, bringing home Gold 2x and Silver once under 3 different riders. Emma's dam is CGF Ruella, a warmblood x pony mare sired by Ridley (Rotspon x Walt Disney). Ruella has had limited saddle time but has shown a physical talent and aptitude for the dressage work. Emma is priced at $20,000 which will increase as her training progresses
