16 year old 17.1hh Warmblood gelding, sired by Freestyle out of a Jazz mare.

I'm going to preface the description of this lovely gelding who has SO MUCH education to offer with the unfortunate fact that he does have shivers, so if that is not something you are willing to manage then he is not the guy for you.

Colby is a kind and safe boy with talent and training. This boy has previously competed to 4th level and most recently competed at first level with very good results. He is being offered for sale to a home looking for a 'lower level' school master. Someone looking to gain experience on a very well trained guy and show up to second level. Although he is still capable of doing lead changes we feel it's maybe not fair to ask him to compete at that level due to his condition. However he would be a SUPER teacher for someone at home to learn the ins and outs of riding the 3rd level movements on a more schooled horse.

He loads/travels/and stables well at shows. He is easy to handle and good in just about any living environment; however plenty of space for him to move around is key to keeping his body working as well as possible for as long as possible. Colby will not be sold to a home without ample turnout.

Colby is a big guy, and he has quite a lot of movement, so he does require a fairly athletic rider to sit the trot! He is very easy in the bridal and tends to be a bit of a push ride.
