Sold
We are considering selling our 18yr old 17.1h I1 Holsteiner gelding Como, but only to the perfect home. I got Como because I wanted to learn and school the upper level movements. While he will oblige me because he is a saint, it’s become clear he is happiest packing my confident beginner husband around. My husband isn’t home enough to warrant having his own horse, so we are seeking the perfect home for Como. We are looking for someone wanting a schooled, kind, safe soul to do lower level work. Although he is easily capable of PSG level movements, his dream rider enjoys less collected work and a relaxed agenda. He has all of the buttons, with big gaits, and an incredible work ethic. He gets monthly legend shots and his last owner mentioned he has a bone spur in his left stifle. She injected it when he was competing in the FEI, but since we’ve had him he hasn’t been bothered by it and hasn't been injected. Como is barefoot, happy, and healthy. He is a willing horse in the arena, out for a hack, or off property for a trail ride, show or clinic. Although he occasionally looks, he is easy to redirect. Currently, he lives in a herd with both geldings and mares and is middle to bottom of the pack. We are interested in finding just the right person to provide Como’s ideal home. He is a pegasus.
