This is a wonderful young gelding suitable to go in the direction of your choice. He is elegant, leggy, and very athletic. His older siblings are starting to be successful in hunters and jumpers, but he could also be steered toward dressage or eventing with his movement and ability. He is now started w/t/c and coming along nicely. He has popped over a couple tiny jumps and was perfect. He has a great brain and loves the work and attention!

"Ears" is a real sweetheart and has been well handled while still being allowed to grow up in a herd to be a horse and learn manners, and maintain soundness and healthy joints. He is intelligent and kind, and loves attention and tries hard to please. He is one of the sweetest, most personable horses we have ever had. He is always happy to see you and is the first to greet you in the field and be ready to go to work.

He has been lightly freejumped and shows carefulness, great technique and excellent scope up to 1.25m with ease and plenty of scope for more. His full brother who is much smaller (15.2h) competed in the 1.20m 6yo YJC class clear at his very first jumper show! Ears has the same great brain, and it looks like even more athleticism. He can be a great AO Hunter or Derby horse, or can follow in his father's footsteps into the jumper ring. This is a wonderful horse for someone looking for a great prospect from proven bloodlines.

Contempo (Contender x Polydor), his sire, was a Grand Prix jumper with his amateur owner, in spite of being blind in one eye and having a very late start showing (8yo). He has freakish athleticism and incredible scope, as well as blood and intelligence. He is also one of the kindest horses I have ever met. He is consistently passing on his great jump and temperament to his offspring, and Ears is no exception. He also passes on his adorable "generous" ears, as you can see. :)

The dam, Galaxi (by Graf Grannus), is a big beautiful mare who has given us a number of beautiful, correct, and athletic babies. The oldest is showing in the jumpers, and another full brother of Ears is one of the fanciest hunter prospects we have seen.
