Lovely 6 year old gelding in a stunning dark compact package. Concerto is sweet and personable on the ground and shows talent under saddle with 3 high quality gaits.
He was shown in 2024 at first level with scores in the low 70s.
From trainer Janine Little:
“Who (other than me) is on the lookout for a super dressage prospect in a smaller package (and yes if I had any cash he would already be mine believe me!!🤪🤪)?? Concerto (aka Jaggs) is a 2019 Rhinelander gelding by Cadeau Noir, this lovely and handy boy is going to quickly and easily move up the levels. Jaggs would be a great match for a young professional looking for their first horse to develop to the FEI ring or he could be a great fit for an ambitious adult amateur or junior rider in a good training program-he is willing, apt and talented but is still young and does still need a rider who ‘gets’ young horses in his life 😊😊. Jaggs is currently schooling Second Level work along with some half passes and will soon be ready for flying changes (with his handiness and aptitude I believe changes as well as pirouettes will come easily for him). Message for full details, he does have a recent vetting on file including X-rays. Better yet if you’ve always dreamed of having a quality FEI horse but don’t have that gigantic 6 figure budget, pick him up now while he’s young and before his value goes way up and I’ll be very happy to help develop him up the levels for you 😁😁, I believe in this little guy he’s going to have a great future!!”

Concerto has a very big expressive trot with excellent front leg reach along with a quick and powerful hind leg. He has excellent over track and swing at the walk. His canter is lovely and balanced with an uphill tendency. Concerto has a body type with refinement, and lovely balance creating a very modern looking outline. Concerto was top dressage foal at his inspection, but also shows talent in the jump chute with a careful and scopey jump. His pedigree supports a strong dressage talent along with jumping ability.
