Cocolalla Creek Sporthorses is nestled in the valley of the namesake creek in a picturesque North Idaho mountain valley only one hour from Spokane airport. Since 1995 Marion Dresel Nelson has operated a successful breeding program here which has earned her the title of USDF Sporthorse Breeder of the Year 3 times. With her riding skills progressing to Grand Prix level the focus has shifted more to training and developing horses, especially for the amateur market. In addition to a full selection of Amateur friendly and affordable sale horses Marion offers customized instruction at the farm or day/weekend clinics at outside facilities. The breeding program offers quality frozen semen from the CCSH stallions, a few select foals every year from outstanding dam lines and a customized embryo transfer program from elite performance mares.
