Consul continues to be one of the leading sires at Iron Spring Farm and is known for producing remarkable athletes for every discipline. Among his international stars are the show jumper Judgement ISF and the four-star eventer Critical Decision. His daughter, the Keur mare Hivona, is a Produce of Dam winner at Dressage at Devon and continues to be one of the top producing broodmares in the KWPN-NA.Consul is a kind-hearted, sweet stallion. He loves attention and begs for treats if he thinks you have something for him. He has always been easy to handle and happy at work. Consul is from the Preferent stallion Nimmerdor’s 7th foal crop and was his 10th (out of 18) son to be approved by the KWPN.
Consul offspring are happy and very brave. They are the first to come to the fence to check out visitors and explore new things. He does throw white and has foals that are born dark brown/ black, as well as beautiful chestnut. They are trainable and progress quickly and desire the opportunity to learn new things.
Dark Daylight was imported in 2001 and has been shown successfully in dressage with scores in the high 70's and 80's. She has 3 good quality gaits and floats across the ground. Her canter is big and lofty and she has a sweetheart temperament and is very easy to get along with. We expect the foal will possess the same sweetness and movements as the dam.
This filly has highly sought after European bloodlines which includes Dark Dream and Donnerhall. With all of these factors this filly will be destined for big things.
