"Coolnorran Chewy", AKA "Derby" is a stunning and solid 16.3hh Imported Irish Sport Horse. In Ireland, he hunted with the Wexfords and the Kildares and jumped 1 m and 1 m 10. He successfully started his eventing career in Ireland and reached novice. At 9 years old, he is accomplished in field hunting, the hunter/jumper ring, eventing, and dressage. He has the athleticisim, experience and attitude to take you in any direction you want to go. Derby has a puppy dog personality. He is bold, sweet, and loves to work. He has tremendous scope, never touches a rail or refuses a jump. Incredible lofty gates and will do anything you ask of him. Nothing phases this guy, never sick or lame, and is an easy keeper. He placed 2nd and 3rd with a 14 year old Jr. rider in the Coastal Hunter Circuit in June of 2013. He is just being brought back into work after a summer off, due to the owner's busy schedule.
