"Cori" is a 2008 15.2 hand dapple grey branded Oldenburg (registered ISR) mare by sire Chicco B, a German Riding Pony, and dam Pocahontas, an Oldenburg mare. She's big bodied and carries herself with presence that makes her suitable for taller riders as well as short riders. Her current owner is 5'7" and Cori has also been ridden by a 5'10" rider as well. Cori's main focus has been dressage. She’s also a proven broodmare. Cori has been in consistent professional training throughout her development and is responsive to light aids. She is currently schooling second and third level movement. She has shown training and first level and completed an Amoeba CT. Cori is easy to put on the bit with an easy trot to sit and lovely canter. She's been started lightly over fences and seems to really enjoy it. Cori shows great promise to excel at eventing as well as dressage. She has confidently tackled up and down banks and ditches. She is very brave and willing to fences and would love cross country. She has been hacked and trail ridden (good with water/bridges/etc). While Cori is well trained and very safe, she is a sensitive, forward thinking mare that would be best suited for a confident adult amateur or junior/young rider, but is also fancy and talented enough for a professional to take up the levels. Wonderful personality and ground manners and is currently barefoot. Bathes/loads/clips/stands for farrier and vet. Only selling due to owner seeking a school master horse on which to learn the FEI movements.
