Country Baron is a 15H 2 year old Morgan/Appendix QH cross gelding. His sire is the Morgan stallion Marle Hill Major’s Apollo, and his dam is the Appendix mare Country Blade. Baron’s breeding includes some of the best of old world Morgan lines from his sire, as well as influential names on his dam side in the QH world, such as the AQHA Hall of Fame stallion The Invester, and the Thoroughbred stallion Twist the Axe, who ran in the 1971 Kentucky Derby. Baron is very well built, with a kind eye and super athleticism. He should mature around 15.3H. He is very trainable, easy to handle, and will be a quick study to start under saddle. Baron is tying, tacking up, and lunging. He was born and raised with us, so he is familiar with the sights and sounds of a busy training facility.
