Shown successfully through M level in Germany, we imported Daquiri in fall 2023 as we thought he would be an excellent horse for the FEI JR/YRs or an ambitious amateur. He is working all the movements of 4th level, and dabbling in PSG. Currently developing the uphill balance and consistent carrying power for the FEI, we have been pleasantly surprised to see glimpses of a horse that far exceeded our expectation of quality! He is a horse that we look forward to riding everyday, as his gaits are manageable and comfortable.
Daquiri is a pleasant mix of sensitivity and sensiblility----his temperament is ideal for the show ring. He is not spooky and maintains focus while in work. He prefers to have a clear, concise leader, so would not be well matched to a timid or anxious rider.
He enjoys his people time, trail riding, and is well mannered on the ground.
