Dante is a beautiful black 2002 Friesian Arab cross. He attained the best attributes of both breeds. Standing just under 17h, he has a refined Arab head and neck with the majestic presence of the Friesian. Light on his feet in his expressive and floating gaits makes him comfortable, easy to sit and a pleasure to ride.
In his first year of dressage training (Jan 2011) he qualified for and competed at the 2011 Region 9 Championships in both Training and First Level. His calm, relaxed and level-headed temperament made it easy to prepare him for and travel to shows. Dante is sweet and personable; a real people pleaser.
He is a delight on the trails and the galloping track which are commonplace in his training program. He is also skilled over trotting poles.
He is sound with no vices and no additional maintenance required.
This is a horse with a bright future! Asking $14k.
Updated video taken Sept 1, 2012. Dante spent his summer turned out in the big pasture so his color is currently bleached out. He will turn back to his big black self again once his winter coat comes in.
