Daphne PVF is a 2016 dark bay ½ Andalusian ½ Holsteiner filly, registered with the IALHA. She is by the Andalusian stallion Dartanan ADF out of an Ariadus/Rantares Holsteiner mare. Daphne is an attractive, athletic filly with a beautiful head and a large star. She is very smart and a quick learner with an exceptional disposition. Daphne was lightly started in the fall of 2018 with extensive groundwork and only 10 rides under saddle. She was then turned out in pasture for the winter season. She was put back into training in June of 2019 and is currently in dressage training with USDF Gold Medalist Simone Ahern

Dartanan ADF traces back to the Guardiola lineage and Bocado line in Spain. He is double registered with the ANCEE and P.R.E. Mundial as well as the IALHA. His sire, Fuedal VIII is a highly decorated stallion including being 2004 USDF and CDS Horse of the Year. Dartanan himself has received numerous prestigious awards including 2014 National Grand Champion Stallion of the Year. He has been trained to 4th level dressage, and is an experienced driving horse. Dartanan possesses excellent conformation with lovely smooth, flowing gaits and a very calm, docile disposition that he passes on to his offspring.

Daphne’s dam is by Ariadus who is by famous stallion Accord II (Ahorn) who was a 100 day test Champion. Ariadus, himself, is a premium rated stallion with 54 bonits. Her granddam is by Rantares who competed successfully through I1 and was the 2007 USEF #1 Dressage Sire known for producing successful sporthorses as well as the successful jumper stallion Robinhood. Daphne’s dam, Whysper HTF, produced the 2019 RMDS Holsteiner Horse of the Year.

She is located in Elbert, CO, an hour south of Denver International Airport and 45 minutes north of the Colorado Springs Airport.
