D’arcadia, or “Danno”, is that red unicorn you were hoping existed. He was imported at four years old from Holland and trained with quality and balanced aspirations in Aiken, SC. He is sound of body and mind, stunning and sweet. He can be a confidence builder for one rider, or a spectacular FEI prospect for another rider. He does have big gaits, so his best match would have a stable seat.

He is currently schooling all of third level and should be ready for 4th level next year, which he knows but is still building strength and condition for carrying. He also has talent for half-steps/piaffe. He is mentally quiet enough in the changes that one should be able to put them in a sequence this winter.

He is truly a gentle giant. He has given lunge line lessons to a novice eight year girl. He loves to hack on trails, cross over bridges, etc, by himself or in groups. He has had a stampede of pastured horses approach him under saddle, without doing anything more than taking care of his rider. He takes pressure in training well, and without taking things personally. He is forgiving and tolerant of rider mistakes.He has been loved all his life, and it shows.

Then if his rider asks to turn on his brilliance, he has the talent and quality to compete at the highest level. He also turns on his charm and power at show grounds in a way that WILL get you noticed. He is straight and honest with big gaits. The more strength he builds, the more his gaits shine. He would make an excellent JR/YR prospect.

He is sound, without any required maintenance or history of joint injections. Past vet records available with the last set of x-rays taken in 2017.
