Dauphin (sire)
Dauphin, competed at M level before an injury side-lined his under saddle work. He stood at stud at Celle for many years where he was a favorite before moving to Canada. He has a sweet disposition and has always been a gentleman to work with. During his time at the prestigious stud in Germany he was the go-to stallion to open the doors and let visitors in and a star of the performance show where he performed in hand and in long lines.
He has produced well over 500 German Hanoverian offspring. Of the 112 mares that are in breeding, 27 of them were awarded the coveted States Premium Title. He has 6 licensed and recognized sons carrying on the line! Dauphin has five offspring competing at S class in dressage and one in S class jumping. He has more than 259 offspring now competing in sport. Dauphin is on the top list of the Hanoverian breed for type with an outstanding score of 132, and a 143 for limbs!
Dauphin's legendary sire is Donnerhall, a bloodline that is known for strength of character and dressage ability. Donnerhall is without a doubt one of the most impactful stallions in dressage today.
Zigami (dam)
His dam is a 16.3hh-imported daughter of Zack by a Florestan mare.
Zack is the flagship stallion of the Blue Hors stud and recently qualified and competed in Tokyo at the age of 19, a testament to his soundness and ability. His blood is hard to find in North America but his stamp is very strong. He carries the powerful blood of Ferro and Jazz both modern giants of dressage of the last generation.
On the dam side, the line of Florestan and Ferregamo speaks to the modern F line that is currently so dominant in dressage breeding today.
Zigami herself is a stunning top inspected Oldenburg mare with an overall score of 106.5. She is long-lined, elegant with a beautiful forward and carrying canter and a nice loose trot and a good walk. Her half-siblings by Zack are on the short tour competition in Europe and her full sibling was in the top barn of the Rottenberg's before being sold to an amateur.

As much as we like the modern lines she carries we also are fans of the Donnerhall blood that is so established and renown for its soundness, rideability, and capacity for dressage work.
Based on her previous foal by a German Riding Pony stallion (pictured), we see that she is very dominant for type so we expect another stunning foal with a golden temperament and very strong pedigree for dressage and since the Dauphin’s offspring often like to jump-perhaps an elegant hunter.
This foal is expected in July and will benefit from our 18 years of experience raising foals and getting them ready for their new homes.
Our foals are handled every day and benefit from a natural setting with excellent forage and plenty of exercises and regular farrier visits.
You will be given regular updates with pictures and videos
