Update: Vinny has been undersaddle for a total of 4 months now and he's going very nicely. He w/t/c and has natural lead changes. He's also trotting over ground poles now and jumping small cross rails. Sooo easy to handle, kids can ride/handle. He's used in a lesson program on the flat. If not sold, he will be started over jumps and also start showing. His price will increase accordingly.

This gorgeous National Champion Half Welsh gelding is by the stallion Alvesta Picasso. Picasso was named the 2009 WPSCS Section B Welsh Pony Sire of the Year and has been on the USEF leading pony Hunter Sire list for many years.

His dam, Lawful Flight, is a 14.2hh Jockey Club TB mare and was successfully shown at the prestigious 2005 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto. She has also been a successful pony hunter broodmare and produced the outstanding pony hunter gelding Pendermere Legacy who went on to place 4th in the Yearling Pony Hunter Class at Devon and finished off the 2002 season as USEF Zone 3 Reserve Champion Yearling Hunter Pony. Pendermere Legacy has been to the USEF Pony Hunter Finals twice, finishing 15th overall in the large greens and placed 7th over fences.

Vinny is an outstanding pony with a beautiful head, friendly personality and cute movement. He is a dream to bathe, clip and hauls quietly. He was the 2010 Alberta Half Welsh 2 yo Futurity Champion and overall Half Welsh Futurity Grand Champion. He has been professionally started under saddle with NO spook and an absolutely dreamy and balanced canter. He would be a great 4H pony or show hunter.
