Beautiful warm blood mare For Sale: “Davinia”, 16hh, 2009 Oldenburg mare. Sired by Grand Prix Hanoverian stallion Donarweiss, out of TB mare. Shown through First level, schooling Second level movements.
This mare has good ground manners, and has been ridden by adult amateurs. Since she is a sensitive type mare, however, I’d prefer she go to a more experienced rider with a good following independent seat. Bred to do either dressage or jumping, due to an injury to her hoof as a 4yr old, she has been jumped very little. She showed great natural talent over fences, and would make an excellent hunter/jumper/event or dressage broodmare prospect in my opinion. Her dam was an easy breeder. She has been leased by several adult amateurs for the last few years but the lease just ended and I’d love to find her an attentive home where she has a job. I’m too busy with training horses to have the time for her. She is sound and healthy, up to date on Coggins, shots, teeth, Farrier work. She will require regular farrier work, and has done well riding 4-5 days a week with front shoes all year round.
She stands tied, ground ties, side passes to the mounting block, lowers head on cue, yields hips and shoulders well, and loves grooming and any sort of attention.
