GORGEOUS 2006 dark brown/black gelding, 16.1hh. By DeLaurentis (DeNiro), out of a Ferro/Pik Bube mare. His sire, DeLaurentis, is well known for his excellent temperament, beauty and movement. He received 9's at his stallion performance test for character, temperament, willingness and constitution, plus his exceptional movement earned him over 9 for his walk and over 8 for trot and canter.
Tad is a very 'in your pocket' type, he loves any kind of attention and being fussed over. Always a barn favorite with students and staff. He was mainly a pleasure horse and had several years off due to time restraints, so has not had a hard working life at all. As a result he is healthy, well and has plenty of miles to go. He is still owned by his breeder so this will be the first time he is offered for sale. He is safe, amateur friendly, loves his work and tries really hard. He is soft in the mouth and goes in a Happy Mouth bit. Extremely willing, trail rides alone or in company, and will make someone a fantastic horse to enjoy and love.
Tad did some local shows when he was a young horse, always scoring high. He is now working towards 2nd level, and he has the temperament and ability to go on with his new owner. No vices, UTD on everything and lifetime registered with USDF.
