De Silvano “Zaphod” (De Niro x Barina) was imported as a 6-month-old from Germany and has since shown how versatile he is. He stands 16.1 hands tall, is barefoot, and an easy keeper with no maintenance needed. He turned 15 years old on March 1 and has many more years in him to do whatever you ask of him. His one owner has brought him along as an extremely well-mannered and versatile horse.

Zaphod has been shown as a hunter up to 3’, knows lead changes, is very honest, and doesn’t stop. He has been used as a lesson horse for beginners, young children, through advanced amateurs and adults. He has placed well in many hunter paces and schooled cross country. When taken on trails he has been great both as a lead horse as well as part of a group. He loves water and has also gone over bridges and under tunnels. Over the past 5 years, he has been having further training in dressage. He has been shown at training level and proves to have a ton of potential for a youth or adult rider. His canter is a dream come true, pair that with a willing attitude and bloodlines made for dressage and you will have an easy time to continue his skills up the levels very quickly.
