Not many warmbloods have been as many places or done as many things as Delano. For the past eight years he has been owned, trained and shown by a professional and has shown from 3rd level up to Grand Prix. Delano has competed in each of the FEI levels and has 3 seasons of GP under his belt. Earning scores all the way up to 76%!

In addition, he has extensive trail riding experience and has also dabbled in running barrels and sorting cattle. Even placing 2nd in a local sort! This sensible horse is not confined to the arena alone and possesses the courage to tackle any trail with confidence and enthusiasm.

Delano is also well loved around the barn and is known for his intelligence, sweet attitude and strong work ethic. His eagerness to please makes him a true schoolmaster but he does require a rider that understands the basics of upper level riding. The rider must understand how to ask for upper level collection in order to get the most out of his training.

At 16, Delano is as healthy and strong as ever and has many years left to compete at the highest level. He requires very little maintenance and can be turned out with other horses. I currently have no plans to continue competing at that level so Delano is ready for his next home.
