Timone is a 5 year old, 16.2h dappled grey registered Dutch Warmblood gelding by the stallion Freestyle (Florestan 1) and a Dutch mare named Pioendaula whos father is Pion. Very good breeding on both sides. The price is $10,000, but is negotiable and reflects the fact that at age 3.5 Timone had hock surgery for an injury when he kicked a stall wall. He has recovered nicely and was started late due to the injury. He is going without lameness and hasnt been off at anytime after surgery. We had flexion tests done last week that showed no lameness, we also have current X-rays for review. If you have any questions about Timone's longevity as a riding partner it is best to refer those questions to your vet. I can only tell you what I have already and don't want to mislead anyone. Coming to ride him is a good start to understanding how fit and balanced Timone is and that he is going very well.
Timone is in full training with a respected dressage professional that has years of experience working with riders and training horses up through the levels. Timone has learned the basics WTC, and is working on his leg yells, transitions and further collection. He is not a fully trained horse and is considered "green" due to the fact that is still learning and perfecting the basics. He will be best suited for an amateur under the guidance of a trainer, or intermediate rider.
