This is a pretty yearling that is growing up nicely, will mature around 16.3. Showing balanced ground covering gaits and a natural uphill carriage. He has correct conformation with good bone, solid feet, and nicely set neck and shoulder. He has a cute face with large kind eyes. He has full AHHA papers, a lifelong USEF registration, and is microchipped. Judge's comments from Holsteiner inspection: 'lots of power', 'solidly built with strong hind end', 'well balanced, carries himself nicely'.
We have handled him from the moment he was born and he is social to the point of being annoying. He leads, bathes, loads, gets fly sprayed, stands in cross ties, wears a blanket, and stands for farrier and vet care. He is laid back and likes to do things slowly, will grow up as a calm, easy ride. He is a quick learner, straightforward, and just does whatever you ask him, no fuss. This horse has not had a bad day in his life and is rock solid sound in his body and mind. He lives in the pasture with three other horses and comes in twice a day for grain. Sire Dolany is a 16.3 Grand Prix dressage winner by the legendary Donnerhall, the two time team dressage world champion for Germany that has reshaped the dressage breeding with 77 licensed sons like De Niro and Don Schufro and internationally successful dressage horses like Damon Hill. Dolany has already sired five licensed stallions for the German Holsteiner Verband.
Demeester's dam is a 5 year old premium Holsteiner mare, from an old proven mare line (Stamm 1463) that has produced over 30 licensed stallions (i.e. Farnese, Latino, Lanciano, Baldini I and II), countless premium mares and internationally successful sport horses in jumper (i.e. L'Eperon) and dressage (i.e. Champus) arenas. She is 16.1, correct, pretty mover, good free jumper, extremely willing and smart, with the kindest personality. She has been started under saddle, but switched to a broodmare career due to an airway problem that would prevent her to perform at a high level of exertion. This is her first foal. She is bred to jump with grandparents like Chicardo and Cathalido, and legends Cassini I and Contender in third generation. Her 3/4 brother (same dam, by Chicardo) competed successfully in 1.35m 7 yo jumpers in 2015.
This foal was bred with intention to keep as my show horse and breed if it was a filly, but is for sale because he is a colt. He will make a pretty hunter, adult/children's jumper or intermediate level dressage horse for a discriminating amateur rider. One sure thing is that he will be easy to train and will make a wonderful partner and friend.
