Nothing is more powerful than a wise decision, and nothing is wiser than electing to purchase a dressage sport horse filly with a pedigree and constitution easily rivaling the highest quality foals currently offered by leading contemporary European breeding programs. On June 10th, 2016, the international Dressage Community welcomed DeNira of Broadway, a spectacular Oldenburg filly, to Via Lago Farms. Since her birth, nearly 700 captivated Facebook followers have enjoyed watching DeNira grow, play, and blossom. It is with great pride that Via Lago Farms is now offering DeNira of Broadway for sale to a fortunate and qualified party.
DeNira is out of Broadway (Bugatti Hilltop X Cor Noir), a 2003 Premium Oldenburg mare. Broadway has foaled three First Premium Inspection-Winning foals and, in 2006, the results from her mare inspection enabled her to claim the title “Highest Scoring Oldenburg mare on the West Coast”, as well as “Reserve Champion for the United States Oldenburg N.A. breed registration.” DeNira, in keeping with her pedigree, lived up to her siblings’ reputations scoring an overall “8.0” at her foal inspection in September of 2016.
DeNira’s sire, Devon Heir, is an Elite Hanoverian and licensed son by the great dressage stallion DeNiro who, per the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH), is the highest-ranking dressage stallion in the world. Devon Heir was the High Scoring Hanoverian at his 100-day Test in 2004, and winner of the American Hanoverian Society Licensing on the West Coast. Within three generations, DeNira’s star-studded pedigree features sires such as Cor de la Bryere, Rubenstein, DeNiro, Akzent II, Bergamon, Langata Express, and Pik Koenig. Discerning breeders and riders alike regard these sires as the most influential in German dressage sport horse history; DeNira embodies the finest qualities of each.
Those who have had the opportunity to meet DeNira have been captivated by her bravado. During DeNira’s post-delivery health examination, a well-respected San Diego Veterinarian stated that, in her opinion, DeNira was “the Baby of the Year.” Several months later, the German judge presiding over her foal inspection exclaimed, “[DeNira is] the most elegant filly I’ve ever seen!” If dressage is your passion, and success in your goal, DeNira is your horse.
