Foxy is a little darling with look at me show presence. Have to sell due to an upcoming move. She went under saddle for the first time 7/15/12 and was a dream, look at that jump!!! 8th Oct update , sat upright on her...she didn't flinch just took it in her stride and then. Free jumped 2'. This pony will be the dream pony for some child and will no doubt do anything they want to do just like her Dam who was just sold for $1900 and this filly is even better. Fantastic temperament, balance, movement and athletic ability. Grand Sire was approved as an American WB. Both sides comes from the Coed Coch bloodlines and Downland Chevalier. Foxy has lovely confirmation. For 2011 she ranked 14th Nationally in her class and coming in 4th in her region after only 2 shows. Foxy won her very first (and mine) ever Sec B registered in hand show at only 5 months out of a class of 6.
Born April she is 2.5y.o now and ready for more serious training. I am reluctant to sell her because I fully expect her to be like her dam who has proven a fantastic all round pony perfect for a small 'old' lady like me or giving lessons to a complete beginner to have fun with (cross country, trails ,driving, giving lessons, pony club games and even barrels)out of my 5 Foxy's dam was my 'go to' mount - always sound and you name it we did it and Foxy has the ribbons to boot. Foxy is the one who calls to me every time I am outside, always friendly and unflappable ,a cuddly teddy bear who loves to be groomed and does not need to be tied up to do so.
I have also had Foxy at de-spook clinics as a yearling climbing over mattresses, tarps etc. Handled daily, I raise my foals to be horses I enjoy being with, ride and feel safe letting my kids being around. Practically self loads, good with farrier, vet etc UTD with everything.
I am 5.1' and weigh in the 130s and have hopped on her back with my full weight no issues there. Foxy's dam is officially measured at 13.1 and 3/4- Perfect.
