Designer Label, aka "Daisy", is an exquisite bay filly delicately appointed with the perfect amount of chrome with incredible hunter movement by the famous Don Alfredo and out of our super, versatile, excellent producing mare Subrette. Daisy's half brother by Apiro out of this same mare last year was 2nd at Warrenton 2009 in the competitive Other Than TB Colts class, and we expect her to be just as nice.

Daisy is an exceptional hunter prospect who should not be overlooked by the discriminating hunter shopper - extravagant movement, striking looks, very correct conformation with a gorgeous topline, and adorable disposition all in one, but has the breeding to be a candidate for any discipline as well! She is a very typical Don Alfredo foal, as he is well known for consistently producing wondeful quality, movement, minds and talent. He has also become well-known for making fabulous, rideable, quiet horses for amateurs and children, but with the quality for a professional. Daisy is no exception, and even at this tender age, we can see the potential oozing out of her! She has a beautiful head and kind, soft, bedroom eyes that just draw you in. She is super friendly and very easy to handle; calm, kind and willng. She would show on the line as well and will not be beaten in the hack! She is so light on her feet that she barely seems to touch the ground! It is impossible to take your eyes off of her as she moves.

Her dam, now 20, had a very full career and competed successfully in the hunters, jumpers and in dressage, as well as I personally Pony Clubbed her as a youngster many moons ago. She is multi-talented, athletic, obedient and a total pleaser, as well as always the hack winner, and has produced several excellent foals for us in her retirement from showing. She is certainly a favorite and we are regretful that Daisy may be her last foal due to her advancing age.

We expect Daisy to mature to around 16.1h to 16.2h. On Aug 2 she was branded RPSI and awarded a Silver Premium with 7.8 on type and 7.6 for movement, for a 7.7 overall. Though she was disadvantaged due to her her young age (6 weeks), she received excellent comments, and a video of her inspection and remarks is forthcoming. She is also eligible for nomination to the IHF!
