We entered Devika in the 2Y/O Hunter Breeding class at the 2022 Texas Winter Series III Show just so she could experience the show environment and to our Suprise she finished Reserve Champion Best Young Horse. Devika received many comments on her powerful gaits. Devika was placed in the Westfalen Main Mare Studbook Oct 2023. Devika's sire is Diamant de Plaisir an 11 y/o (2012) 17 hand Bay Hanoverian stallion currently competing and placing in the 1.55-meter classes in Europe. Diamant de Plaisir brings together two of the top sires in showjumping Diamant de Semilly (WBSFH #2 (2018 & 2017) and For Pleasure (WBSFH #11 (2018) and #3 (2017).
Diamant de Plaisir’s dam is Lady Pleasure (For Pleasure x Landor S x Contender) who is out of the ‘National-Mare-Champion” Lady Heida I. Her full sister, state premium and elite mare Lady Heida II received an outstanding 10.0 for jumping in her mare performance test. This is an outstanding mare line that has produced many top jumpers and licensed stallions.
Diamant de Plaisir is licensed with Hanoverian, Holsteiner, Oldenburg and Southern German Associations. He completed his 50- day test in Adelheidsdorf receiving the highest jumping scores 9.5 for scope and 8.5 for technique. Diamant de Plaisir was the Hanoverian 4-year-old young jumper champion, qualified for and placed in the Bundeschampionate both as a five-year-old and six-year-old. He placed 3rd in the 1.45 Final of the Youngster-Tour at the Horses and Dreams in Hagen.
