He has had bilateral ocd hock surgery flexes fine, but does have larger hock No I dont have current xrays, or videos, hence the price. Family health means no time to do them.

So we just measured him. He is currently 17.2 hands. The ergot to elbow string test says he has about 3" to grow, and when we measure from coronet to knee, it measures just over 18.5". Diamond looks like he wants to grow up to be a VERY BIG BOY

Lavarino's exquisite movement and athletic capability are exemplary of his sire Laval I's reliable influence. Laval I is considered one of the best modern Holsteiner influences, with offspring competing in the top levels in both jumping and dressage. Holsteiner blood is not only a guarantee for supremacy in the jumping arena, But have proven to be one of the most influential bloodlines in dressage as well. Lavall I completed his stallion testing in 1989 in Adelheidsdorf.

Diamond Stud's granddam is sired by none other than Rohdiamant, one of the most successful sons of the great Rubinstein I. Lisa Wilcox successfully campaigned Rohdiamant to Grand Prix, and went on to achieve Olympic status with his son Relevant. Rohdiamont has produced a number of offspring competing Grand Prix. His foals have a highly rideable index,are elastic, and elegant horses, which confirms him as a legacy.

In March 2009 at Diamond Stud successfully completed his 30 day test at Silver Creek Farms where he was the highest scoring stallion in his Walk, Trot & ride-ability, and 2nd highest scoring stallion for canter & jumping. This noble black stallion presents a striking appearance with his uphill build and all black coat, complete with four white stockings and a star. His movement is powerful, supple and athletic. Equally impressive is his gentlemanly demeanor in the barn and with people.

Talented and forward thinking with very smooth, expressive gaits. 17.1HH Mare, Savoir Vivre, Chestnut, “Savvy” is by Shakespeare in Love (Sherlock Holmes/Word Cup III - the sire of Steffen Peters dressage horse Surprise 8) out of Diana (Duhan/JupiterII). Savvy is a very smooth, talented, forward thinking horse with very expressive gaits. She was imported from Germany's elite sale as a three year old. Savvy was evented to novice level, and trained to third level Dressage, then unfortunately was retired due to a non conformation causing tendon injury. Savvy is one of those mares that everyone sees and drools over. Can you say suspension?
