DiCaprio "Leo" is a 2016 14h Welsh/Hanoverian gelding. Leo is a serious pony for a serious competitor! Definite FEI potential!

In his first year of showing dressage, Leo has won multiple classes at First Level against the warmbloods scoring up to 68% in the Open Classes! His first show in the Pony classes, he was High Point Pony of the entire show with a 67.778% at First Level Test 3 in the Open Show at Regional Championships. Consistenly scoring a 7 for gaits. He is currently schooling all of the Second Level work and some Third Level including trot and canter half passes. Changes are not officially started (due to focusing on show season) but at opportune moments he has done them easily.

Leo is best suited for a solid, tactful rider. Not spooky and very reliable in all situations. But he does get his confidence from his rider and appreciates a clear, kind, quiet leader. Off property he is absolutely a rock. The anchor of my crew of show horses, he provides my more nervous-nellies a solid, grounded herd member to help keep everyone balanced. Loves wandering the show grounds and socializing!

No lunging or prep required. The same horse every day regardless of weather, location, or time off.

Great for vet and farrier. Loads like a champ. Stands like a statue to be clipped. Zero vices.

Unfortunately, he was sold from his breeder via a dispersal sale as a 2yr old and his papers did not follow and I have only a tiny amount of info to work with on tracking them down. But I am trying as he should be eligible for Half Welsh papers.
