Divo Rico SE is a correct, sound, talented son of Johnson (a Dutch WB sire by the famous Jazz). His mother is the registered Dutch mare, Rica Veneziana, a half-Trakhener out of a Preferent mother. Rico has been a slow developer who was started as a 3 yo and then given some time off this spring/summer to grow up. The change in him is amazing, and he is responding well to training and looks the part of a talented dressage prospect. While Divo is smart, talented, and trainable, he is sensitive and at this age he can be a little quick/reactive. He is ideally suited to a confident rider and would make a great training project for a young rider or beginning professional. He LOVES attention and trailers, turns out, stands for bathing and shoeing. Under saddle he walk/trot/canters, takes contact and direction well, but is very green. He has excellent rythem to his gaits and moves with scope. Owner/Breeder is motivated and wants a good home for this special colt!
