Dixon's sire is the imported Hanoverian stallion Dubarry: https://www.eurequine.com/dubarry - Dubarry is making waves through his consistently exceptional offspring, and is a leading sire of Hanoverian Gold Medal Foals. A 2020 Dubarry colt that I bred was Top Colt, Top Foal, and Gold Medal at his 2020 inspection, and tied for 3rd in the nation at last year's yearling futurity. Another Dubarry son debuted at 3rd level in 2020 with a score of 72. Dubarry's offspring are consistently long of leg and neck, with powerful uphill movement and free shoulders. They are naturally people-oriented and trainable.
Dixon's dam is Hanoverian Premium Mare/Competition Mare Helina, who retired sound from showing up to the I1 level to make babies, although I lessoned and cliniced on her well into this pregnancy. Helina is a balanced and harmonious beauty, who was the top scoring Hanoverian mare at her 2021 inspection. Helina is a 3/4 sister to Her Highness O: https://www.eurodressage.com/2015/01/23/caroline-roffmans-her-highness-…
Dixon is a bright star with an incredible future ahead. He is everything I hoped for from this breeding with a long, elegant neck, uphill and balanced movement, long and correct legs, an inquisitive disposition, and - as a bonus - an exceptionally beautiful face. His pedigree predisposes him to dressage excellence and he is exceeding all expectations already.
Purchase includes all routine expenses through weaning, Hanoverian registration (branding at the buyer's discretion), and lifetime USEF. I have a strong preference for a competition home because I want this guy seen!
