Dom is very generous and has an outstanding work ethic. He will be happy to be a schoolmaster for someone looking to earn their Bronze. He is an experienced competitor at venues large & small, and the judges love his unique & energetic presence. Dom is an obstacle-course enthusiast and would be an absolutely phenomenal working equitation horse. He is a sensitive horse- he learns quickly and is never dull. Dom would be happiest with a rider who enjoys hills/trails in addition to ring work, as he absolutely loves to go exploring. He has ridden extensively through PA hunt country (unfazed by traffic, deer, cows, dogs, alpacas, etc) and is a safe and tidy little jumper for logs and small coops. He is also great with cavaletti work. Dom is easy in all the ways- clipping, trailering, vet, etc. Light maintenance (hocks annually,) good feet, no soundness issues or major health problems. Dom is not suited for a large show barn with limited turnout. Ample turnout time is important to him mentally and physically. Dom bonds strongly to his person, more so than most geldings, and has a very humorous personality. He is an absolute gem of a horse. He will be an excellent partner for a junior rider, or an amateur who wishes to feel again the delight of their junior years :)
