Don Denali, by Don Frederico, has the breeding, lovely movement and talent to potentially go all the way to GP. This refined, rideable 10 year old bay gelding has only been shown 3 times, due only to a lack of opportunity. He won his training level classes all 3 times. He was not started under saddle until age 5, and has had only 2 owners.

Professionally trained by FEI rider/former owner and currently in training with a USDF silver medalist, he is correct in all movements. With a few more show miles, he will be ready for First and Second Level quickly. Solid at First and now schooling Second Level. Fluid, light in the bridle with 3 easy to sit gaits, Denali is a dream ride. His canter has good jump, is very uphill and balanced. Lateral work comes easy to him. He has never been ridden with spurs, moves willingly off the leg.

He is a half brother to Don Johnson, who has been trained and ridden by Isabell Werth to 48 FEI level competition victories. Their sire, Don Frederico, is known for producing horses with powerful hindquarters, lots of elasticity, lift through the shoulder and expression. His dam, SPS Bergfee Bo, has an outstanding show record including wins at the prestigious Louis Weigles SPS Mare Show in Germany in 2003, where she was awarded 3-Year Old Champion Filly, and Elite Family with her mother and full sister. During her 30-day Mare Performance Test in Germany, she scored an overall 9 with a perfect 10 in elasticity. She also has many wins in the USA at both the Regional and National levels.

Denali is very sound, an easy keeper, up to date on everything, he has had daily turnout. No stall vices or bad habits. Sweet natured and kind with a bit of personality! Denali needs an intermediate amateur or professional to give him the opportunity to fulfill his potential. He is a great horse to move up the levels with, as you will never tire of riding him. He also hacks quietly. Currently stabled in Panama City, FL. at Misty Meadows Stable and Training Facility.
