Freddy debuted in FEI classes in the Fall of his 7 year old year with PSG scores to 68% and is ready to go to a loving AA or YR FEI competitor home.

High Valley Hanoverians is pleased to offer for sale Don Frederic HVH to an exceptional performance home. “Freddy” is a 16.3H dark bay 2008 Hanoverian Gelding (Don Frederico x EM Wruffian Q / Weltbekannt). He has three quality uphill gaits with exceptional elasticity and suspension that consistently earn him 9s and some 10s in USDF Recognized Shows. He has a phenomenal show record during the 2012 and 2013 show seasons. In 2013, Freddy achieved USDF Horse of the Year in two divisions (1st Level and 4/5 year old Materiale with scores to 93.4%) and was a finalist in the Markel/USEF Young Horse Championship. In 2012, Freddy’s accomplishments included 4th in the 2012 Markel/USEF Young Horse Dressage Championship, USDF Reserve Champion Horse of the Year for 4/5 year old Materiale, USDF Region 3 Training Level Champion and Materiale Champion at Dressage at Devon.

Don Frederic HVH is a talented athlete well on his way to his FEI career. He is the kind of horse that most professionals would love to have as their personal horse or in their program. Don Frederic was trained via the unique High Valley Hanoverians program “Developing Hanoverian Athletes in the Mind & the Body”™. This program is known for producing quality young dressage horses with a rock-solid dressage foundation, are in super physical condition due to the combined training and mountain hill work and have an exceptional work ethic due to being truly happy in their work. Don Frederic has flourished in this program and is well on his way to demonstrating his phenomenal dressage performance potential. He has extremely fancy, uphill gaits, presence and exceptional work ethic and would easily be a national champion going up the levels. He schooled and showed at Prix St. Georges during the 2015 show season.

Don Frederic HVH did not show in 2016-2019 due to owner's health. He has been schooled at 3rd level intermittently during these years. He returned to full professional training in Aug.2020 and returned to competition at 3rd Level in Oct.2020 while schooling PSG. Freddy is ready to go to a loving performance home to continue his FEI development with a Young Rider or Adult Amateur. He has a full set of clean baseline Xrays (multiple views of 12 joints) and will pass a vetting.
