Great all around mare. Easy lead changes. Show experience. Schooling 2nd/3rd level dressage. Enjoys hacking out, lower level jumping and good with other horses. Amateur friendly.

As I’m starting my second year at college I have made the tough decision to sell my wonderful mare. She’s ready for the next chapter in her story. Dona Bela HB (“Bela”) is a 9 year old, 15.2hh, bay, Oldendburg NA, mare. She is currently in full training with Redha Gharsa and schooling 3rd level with room for growth!

Bela is a super talented special horse. I bought her as a 5 year old and competed her up the levels in show jumping, and while she is a super talented jumper, we’ve discovered her true talent lies in dressage! Last summer she played in the sandbox for the first time and scored a 70.862 at training level for reserve high point champion at Dressage By Chance with an adult amateur rider. With more training under her belt, she’s now ready to take the dressage world by storm!

I’ve owned her since I was 14, so she’s super comfortable with juniors / amateurs and is easy to handle on the ground as well.

She’s a beautifully expressive mover with wonderfully comfortable gaits. She has clean changes, lovely transitions, and a super medium trot.
Currently working on piaffe/ passage and improving everyday! She’s a smart mare and sensitive to the aids.

Bela will hack out alone or in a group, lunges, stands for farrier and vet, loads and ships, good in a stall and on cross ties. I can even hop on bareback in a halter and just goof around as well. We’ve had a lot of fun growing up together and she’s really been there done that - trails, swimming, cross country, bareback galloping in fields, and countless a-circuit jumper shows (including 2 weeks at Tryon).

I’ve grown up with Bels, so she really holds a special place in my heart. A wonderfully, loving home is an absolute must. Enjoy this special mare and show off in the sand box!
