Donnerbey is an 8 year old 16.2 hh Registered Canadian Warmblood gelding. He was sired by Donner Bube(Oldenburg) from the very successful Donnerhall dressage stallion and out of Tango Selune(Selle Francais) approved registered Canadian Warmblood mare. Tango Selune passes on his amazing bone and athleticism, as well as his exceptional personality. Tango Selune had premium marks in his 120-day testing and was a successful eventer, being long-listed for the 2000 Olympics before his demise. Donnerbey has inherited the fabulous Donner movement combined with exceptional jumping talent and superior trainability.

Donnerbey had a late start, however, his is eager, willing and enjoys working. He has a lovely temperament, calm disposition, impeccable ground manners and is a pleasure to have in the barn. Donnerbey is very powerful, athletic, sound and would be well suited for any discipline. He has free jumped 4 feet with ease and has a natural lofty stride with good extension. He is currently being schooled in dressage and jumping 2’6 – 3’ courses. His farrier, teeth, deworming and vaccinations are all up to date. Donnerbey would make a perfect partner for an active rider who is looking for a quality, high performance horse to develop and compete at an advanced level in dressage or jumping.
